I'm excited to announce the I've joined the Board of Directors for Invictus World, Inc.! Our mission at Invictus World is to, "provide performers an educational, challenging, and positive competitive experience built on quality design and instruction." We will be fielding Invictus, Austin's first Independent World Class winter guard, to compete in the WGI 2017 season, with lots of opportunity for growth of other ensembles within the Invictus World umbrella organization.

I "wear a few different hats" at Invictus World. As a Board of Directors member, my role within the main organization is to offer whatever thoughts or insight I can based on my knowledge and experience in the pageantry arts - but from the viewpoint of a "friend of color guard", having never actually participated myself. Additionally, I serve in the role of Media & Marketing, having the pleasure of creating the entire online presence for Invictus - designing the website, creating the visual branding & aesthetic (logos and the like), and helping with the social media efforts of the organization. With the winter guard, I'll be working closely with the design team to create the perfect soundtrack to bring out the most in our performers.

I'm excited to see where Invictus goes and to be a part of the journey!
